As part of the 2023-24 Budget, the Australian Government announced a $57 million investment to help strengthen the supported employment sector. This investment includes six initiatives focused on supported employment.
The Department of Social Services (DSS) has developed a “Future of Supported Employment” discussion paper, which outlines the proposed approach for each of the initiatives and includes key questions for feedback. The full Discussion Paper, and an easy read version, are attached.
