Flagstaff currently has a voluntary position vacant on its Board of Directors for a Shoalhaven representative. Join a values-driven not-for-profit Board that creates social impact and support for people with disability on the South Coast and play a key role in its growth and governance.
Flagstaff is led by the values of inclusion, support, leadership and celebration with the purpose to provide life skills and employment for people with disability.
Flagstaff operates NDIS services as well as several social enterprises including a commercial laundry, printery, frozen meal delivery enterprise, paper and recycling business, grounds maintenance and cleaning, packing and assembly and light engineering in locations across North and South Nowra, Port Kembla, Unanderra and Smeaton Grange.
Flagstaff is currently seeking a board member living or working in the Shoalhaven who can use their professional skills to support this growing disability enterprise. The Board meets bi-monthly to maintain the strategic direction and governance of the organisation that has over 400 staff of which 270 have a disability. Board members may be required to join sub-committees that concentrate on particular projects utilizing their professional or lived experience to support the organisations key objectives, sustainability and supports for people with disability.
