Flagstaff Shoalhaven’s Life Choices team held a Skatetastic event during Youth Week in September painting their own skateboards thanks to a grant from Shoalhaven City Council.
Fifteen enthusiastic participants enjoyed creating their own themed skateboard, led by an artist and inspired by indigenous designs … and some NRL codes.
“It was so much fun to make,” said one participant. During lunch, everyone enjoyed party pies and sausage rolls.
