Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting managers and supervisors to maintain compliance of safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements, including training of staff;
  • Assisting in regular safety audits;
  • Conducting internal investigations and training on accident investigation, manual handling and fire safety;
  • Maintaining Work Health & Safety Legislation;
  • Recording, investigation and reporting of workplace incidents, accidents and near misses;
  • Management of return to work plans and injury management;

We are seeking

  • An enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Health and Safety;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all Stakeholders within the businesses;
  • Formal qualification (Cert IV or higher) in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and demonstrated recent experience in effectively undertaking a key & direct safety role in the work place
  • Recent experience, confidently and efficiently using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Current unrestricted driver’s license;
