Production & Delivery Assistant - Fine Foods

Fulltime 76 hours per fortnight

Flagstaff has been operating for over 50 years, providing a range of supports for People with a Disability in the Illawarra & Shoalhaven regions.

Our business has experienced significant growth, and as a result we have an ongoing demand to increase our production and delivery team. We are looking for suitably qualified Production & Delivery Assistants with a proven background in meal manufacturing and a commercial delivery environment, to assist in the production and distribution of commercial quantities of packaged frozen meals for wholesale & retail trade.

We look forward to hearing form you if you have:

  • A current MR Driver’s License (or higher preferred), and the ability to produce a driving record that demonstrates a safe driving history
  • Demonstrated experience working in a field that reflects production, processing, delivery and pick up
  • A proven ability to undertake the physical requirements and expectations of the role
  • Ability to operate independently, effectively and professionally with limited supervision
  • Display familiarity in the use of core office software applications
  • Awareness of Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements 

 It would also be highly regarded if you possess the following:

  • Possess or willingness to obtain a forklift ticket
  • Experience in use of quality systems (HACCP experience would be ideal)
  • First Aid Certificate desirable (or the capacity & willingness to obtain the qualification), and the capacity & willingness to act as a workplace first aid officer where requested;
  • Experience interacting with a Person with a Disability (socially or professionally)
