Vocational Pathways

Are you a high school student in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Macarthur thinking about life after school?

Designed for high school students from Years 9 to 12, Flagstaff’s Vocational Pathways offers participants with a disability access to work experience and vocational training in a supportive business environment.

Flagstaff works closely with schools in the Illawarra, Macarthur and Shoalhaven regions to identify suitable students who would benefit from the support and continuously use student feedback to enhance the activities to ensure the highest quality training and learning.

Workshops are held at Flagstaff in a professional work environment where students can gain work experience in one of six businesses.

The activities guide participants through three phases:

Work experience tailored to the student’s interests and based in the areas which they personally found most valuable in phase one. This phase can be extended to fit in with the student’s goals.
