TAFE Illawarra Cert II Qualifications
Train and study for a formal qualification through our partnership with TAFE Illawarra
The Flagstaff Group has partnered with TAFE Illawarra to provide vocational training and educational learning for employees with disabilities. This collaboration allows employees to access education and to gain TAFE qualifications in courses delivered via a combination of practical work experience on the job and theoretical work.
There are significant barriers to education faced by people with a disability who would like to gain qualifications or access further training. Flagstaff supports you to reduce these barriers, increase your skills, and address knowledge gaps. The courses available to support you include:
- Cert II Food Processing
- Cert II Waste Management
- Cert II Health Support
- Cert II Process Manufacturing
This year, 32 students across our Wollongong and Nowra sites completed courses at TAFE Illawarra and received their Certificate II in Food Processing or Waste Management. For many students, undertaking these Certificate II courses has been the first formal qualification they have ever received, creating a positive impact on confidence and independence. In the coming years, Flagstaff and TAFE Illawarra will continue to invest in assisting employees to achieve these results and gain these course qualifications.
Flagstaff maintains their commitment to advancing the skills and knowledge of employees through training and education, enabling them to develop and gain qualifications that can be applied in the workforce.
Would you like to roll up your sleeves and have a go at getting these qualifications? For more information, please contact Rod Clark:
