NDIS Programs LEAP School Program LEAP School Program Project LEAP (Learning, Empowerment, Achievement and Purpose) is a tailored high school program for students who would benefit from a project-based program or who may not necessarily identify with having a disability. Students participating in the LEAP program have the opportunity to work on a project that is primarily outcome-based. The students continuously work on a series of mini-projects to achieve an end-goal. This opportunity develops independence and confidence and creates employment prospects in a goal-focused environment. Flagstaff’s team focus on developing long-term communication skills alongside vocational skills within the projects, rather than purely focusing on vocational training which has a strong emphasis in the later school years through Flagstaff’s other pathways programs. LEAP runs over a 5-week period in either the Illawarra or Shoalhaven, with students attending for 2 hours per week to work on their project. Flagstaff provides transport to and from the project’s site. Are you ready to make a leap into an exciting project?
