About the Role:

Fine Foods is a business division of Flagstaff that offers retail home delivery frozen meal & catering options across the Illawarra, Nowra, Southern Highlands, Goulburn and Campbelltown region, as well as wholesale trade.

We provide delicious frozen meal options that cater to all tastes, dietary requirements and meal size preferences. Our Fine Foods team are culinary experts who use carefully selected quality ingredients to deliver nutritious and convenient meals directly to your door. Dinner is sorted with a Fine Foods healthy, tasty, and convenient meal — when you want it!

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone with a proven background in customer service, preferably in a meal manufacturing & commercial delivery environment, to assist the Fine Foods team in the production & distribution of commercial quantities of packaged frozen meals for wholesale & retail trade. 

As the successful applicant, you will possess the following Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working in a field that reflects an ability to undertake the requirements and expectations of the role;
  • Current MR Driver’s Licence, and the ability to produce a driving record that demonstrates a safe driving history;
  • Ability to operate independently, effectively and professionally with ability to complete goods receiving;
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and good practice;
  • Display familiarity in the use of core office software applications;
  • Awareness of Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements;

It would also be highly regarded if you possess the following Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in use of quality systems (HACCP experience would be ideal)
  • First Aid Certificate desirable (or the capacity & willingness to obtain the qualification), and the capacity & willingness to act as a workplace first aid officer where requested;
  • Experience interacting with a Person with a Disability (socially or professionally)
  • Possess or willingness to obtain a forklift ticket

The Role:

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Undertake all aspects of food production, working in  a cold environment;
  • Ensure sufficient materials to meet production targets are maintained;
  • Ensure any required stock control and/or sales reporting requirements are met;
  • Ensure consistent quality & quantity standards are maintained;
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are consistently maintained, with the ability to deliver meals to our valued clients at least one day a week;
