Flagstaff recycles a common type of soft plastic called low-density polyethylene (identifiable with LDPE-4 symbol). We can arrange pick-up or you can drop-off your clear and clean LDPE-4.

This may include bubble wrap, shrink wrap, pallet wrap, shopping and product bags, and see-through plastic bags.

NO coloured plastic please! Depositing the wrong type of plastic requires time-consuming manual sorting, reduces the quality of the recycled product and can damage equipment.

For large volumes, rent a bale frame to bag plastic at your site then choose a collection service that’s right for you: weekly, fortnightly, monthly — or as required. This service is available in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra.

Free recycling for LDPE-4 soft plastics and x-rays is available for drop-off at our facility:

Drop-off is only available Monday - Thursday 4:15 pm-4:45 pm.
