The Flagstaff Group has mobilised our Crisis Management Team (“CMT”) including our Pandemic Response Procedures (“PRP”) protocols. We have policies and procedures in place to promptly deal with potential incidences of the virus among staff, employees and clients.

Realising we are an essential link for many in our community, The Flagstaff Group has devised additional controls across our services (Laundry, Paper 2 Paper, Print, Mail and Digital and Fine Foods) which enable us to continue these services. We have implemented the following;

  • Increased information sessions with Staff and Participants;
  • Providing Facts sheets for employees families and visitors;
  • Avoiding all unnecessary face to face meetings;
  • Increased flexibility to transfer staff between divisions;
  • Limit travel to only most essential meetings;
  • Increase utilization of skype and teleconferences facilities;
  • Increase vigilance in regards to:
    • Hand washing;
    • Increase Personal Protection Equipment;
    • Practicing social distance where practical;
    • Self-isolating staff and participants in line with Government advice.

These measures will ensure deliveries to those potentially affected by COVID-19 will remain in place unless directly advised by the Department of Health or other Government agencies.

Collection and delivery services will continue, with information being distributed to our clients regarding safe hygiene practices and seeking medical advice if they become unwell.

We will continue to act on the Department of Health advice and recommendations. Taking these steps will provide the safety net to have resources in place to ensure the sustainability across our services in the event of a wider outbreak in the community.

The Flagstaff Group supports a wide range of services to the elderly and people with a disability across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven area and will continue to provide these services in line with the Department of Health or other Government agencies.
