Recognition Event for Department of Industry
The Flagstaff Group welcomed the Department of Industry on Tuesday 11th April 2017 for a recognition event to acknowledge their ongoing support of our Print and Mail division and employees. Four members from the Department of Industry; Andrew Dean, Jonathan Atkins, Katherine Tollner and Caroline Myers visited from Orange to tour our Nolan Street sites. Our guests saw first hand the diversity of our businesses including Fine Foods, Laundry, Paper to Paper, Engineering and Coffee divisions and Print and Mail division.
The Department of Industry have a strong commitment towards social procurement and been a Flagstaff customer for over three years. Their support has assisted with providing meaningful employment to many employees with a disability throughout that time. Flagstaff’s Print and Mail team are commonly working on different jobs for the Department of Industry including promotional material, business cards, mail outs and packaging which utilise the many different sections of our print and mail division. Our visitors were able to see the creation process of their products including Print and Mail’s various printing machines and meet the employees who contribute directly to the production of their high quality items!
Flagstaff was proud to present our guests with a gift of a framed image and plaque to thank them for their continued support of our division and employees. Roy Rogers (Flagstaff CEO) said a few words to also thank our guests which was responded by lovely words from Andrew and Katherine.
Flagstaff employees Daniel Silke and Michael Bird were also awarded a recognition certificate for their outstanding work on the range of products provided to the Department.
The Flagstaff Group would like to thank the Department of Industry once again for the great meet and visit, and for their valued ongoing support.
