Flagstaff to operate Pipi's Cafe at Warrigal Shell Cove
The Flagstaff Group was delighted to be at Warrigal Shell Cove today to announce that they will operate Pipi’s Café, the onsite café located on the ground floor of Warrigal Shell Cove. Flagstaff was proud to be joined NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian to make this exciting announcement.
The Flagstaff Group is a local Supported Employment Enterprise providing employment and training for over 280 people with a disability across a number of business divisions, including Café Vizioné at Bluescope. Warrigal is an organisation that creates communities providing care and support for older people, and has worked together with Flagstaff for over 20 years.
Flagstaff’s CEO Roy Rogers said “Flagstaff is very pleased that our collaborative partnership with Warrigal will continue to create meaningful employment and training for people with a disability. We’re thrilled to be selected as a partner in this innovative development to run Pipi’s Café”. In addition to the operation of Pipi’s Café, Flagstaff will also provide the linen and laundry services for the Warrigal Shell Cove site.
Pipi’s Café will open in October at Warrigal Shell Cove selling coffee, cake and light lunches to Warrigal residents, families, staff and the general public.
