What type of work is available?
The Flagstaff Group offers supported employment across a range of business divisions including:
- Paper to Paper (recycling paper, cardboard and soft plastics)
- Fine Foods (snap frozen meals)
- Print and Mail
- Commerical Laundry
- Grounds Maintenance
- Packaging and Assembly
Training and on the job support is provided to help you reach your goals.
If you would like supported employment to be a part of your individualised NDIS plan, organise a meeting with Flagstaff to discuss your goals. We can help you into supported employment under the NDIS and provide guidance on your role during these changes. You will also need to discuss this goal with your National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Support Planner in your meeting so they can provide the appropriate support to help you achieve it.
Flagstaff Futures – After School Part Time Employment
Flagstaff Futures offers paid, after-school, part-time supported work during the week, specifically designed for people 15 to 17 years of age with disability. As part of the Flagstaff Futures initiative, you will complete a 12-week skills program to increase your confidence and ability.
Part time work from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm is available at Flagstaff North Nowra or Flagstaff Unanderra sites.
This is a great opportunity to gain paid work experience in an inclusive work environment whilst learning new skills, meeting new friends and connecting to other social activities.
