Convention Program

Reach for the Stars brings together key industry and business experts to explore how the strata industry can set new benchmarks.
Position your business for growth and the challenges that lay ahead. Sessions on strategy, staff recruitment and retention, and corporate performance, focus on the future for the industry and its suppliers.
This year’s convention also features three concurrent streams...
Stream A
Features guest speakers on creating star performers, getting the best from your staff and managing performance.
Stream B
Looks at leadership, business planning and strategies to create a stellar business.
Stream C
Has been designed for Owners Corporations and features presentations on common property and meeting management. |
|
But it's not all about work...
Dine and dance
with the stars...
Join your friends at our
informal and formal dinners on Friday and Saturday nights.
|
| |
 |
Friday night’s informal dinner has a
‘Gangsters and Gals’ theme. Come dressed as your favourite ganster or gal and
enjoy a night of fine food, fun and dancing.
This year’s music features
the Junk Band.
Expect the
unexpected! These "virtuosos of the bizarre" create a live stage
experience that must be seen and heard to be believed. Witness fire, illusion,
passion, irreverent satire, singing saws, flying chooks and musical
mayhem.
Wielding guitars, ukuleles,
a sousaphone, a phono-fiddle, garbage cans and metal sinks, these rhythm magicians
are sure to rock the casino.
(Dinner is sponsored by Havencab)

The formal dinner and ISTM Annual Awards on
Saturday night is an event
not to be missed.
This year’s theme is ‘big
band at the casino’ with performances by John Morrison and his band.
Dust off your black tie and evening dress and join us on the terrace at 7.00pm for cocktails and canapés
followed by a three course meal and drinks in the grand ballroom at Star City
Casino.
(Dinner is sponsored by Commercial Cleaning & Caretaking and Windowline)
Formal dress is essential as
is a sense of humour and dancing shoes! |
